The Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER) promotes technological development and innovation as essential pillars to generate applied knowledge that responds to the great challenges of today's society. Through its Research, Development, and Innovation (R&D&I) area, the Foundation promotes a culture of open and continuous innovation that is integrated both in its internal processes and in the projects it develops together with its international network of universities, technology centers, and professional teams.
Participation in International Research Projects
FUNIBER actively participates in international research programs and calls, including initiatives such as Iberoeka, Eureka, Avanza Programs, and projects funded by organizations like the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the World Bank (WB), the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), and various programs of the European Commission.
Participation allows the Foundation to access competitive funding, strengthen its network of alliances and develop research, development, and innovation projects in areas such as education, technology, health, environment, and institutional and business management.

Preliminary Needs Analysis
The specific needs, objectives, and context of the project are analyzed jointly with the participating entities to define solutions tailored to the reality of each organization.
Content and Solution Development
Based on the previous analysis, contents, and solutions are designed and developed in a structured and pedagogical manner, integrating existing knowledge and new developments when necessary.
Choice of Method
The most appropriate methods and resources are selected for each project, combining, when appropriate, face-to-face modalities and the use of educational and digital technologies, optimizing available resources.
Follow-Up and Improvement
Initiatives are continuously monitored, evaluating results, resolving incidents, and updating content or processes when appropriate, with the aim of reinforcing project impact and continuity.
Integration with the International Network of Entrepreneurs and Investors
FUNIBER's R&D&I projects are organized within the Fundación Innovación y Desarrollo (FIDBAN), an international network promoted by FUNIBER and other institutions that connects entrepreneurial projects with potential investors.
With operations in more than 30 countries, FIDBAN promotes the creation of investor clubs, organizes international investment forums, and provides a digital platform for the analysis and evaluation of projects, facilitating access to financing for innovative business initiatives. The platform connects business angels, family offices, venture capitalists, and corporate investors with entrepreneurs looking to boost their projects.
