Program Presentation
Health Sciences is the discipline that provides proper knowledge about health, diseases and well being. It is based on a set of different disciplines (applied sciences) aimed at or dedicated to the health of human beings. These disciplines may be biology, biochemistry, pharmacology, etc.
Who is the programme for?
The program’s Common Core: Previous Preparatory Course in Health Sciences is aimed at:
- Those with university degrees NOT from Health Sciences who are studying the Master in Biological-Naturist Specializing in Acupuncture and/or Traditional Chinese Phytotherapy.
- Those with NONE university degrees who are studying the University Expert Degree in Acupuncture or the University Expert Degree in Traditional Chinese Phytotherapy.

a. The equivalence in credits may vary according to the University that issues the degree. One (1) ECTS credit (European Credit Transfer System) is equal to 10 + 15 hours. The relationship between credits and hours may vary for those students in the Program who are enrolled in a University not belonging to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
b. Length in months.
- Being a distance learning Program and not subject to in situ classes, there is no specific starting date, by which the student may complete the enrollment process at any time provided that there is available space.
- Due to reasons of academia and learning, the Program has a minimum duration of 6 months, starting from the date the two textbook volumes are delivered to the student, until the end date.
- The maximum time available for completing this program is of 6 months. During this time, the student should have submitted all of the corresponding evaluations.
