Physical activity is a factor of utmost importance to maintain the quality of life and the health of people during their different stages of life. This is even more so if physical activity is considered to serve for both the prevention and treatment of diseases related to a sedentary lifestyle.
For the practice of physical activity as a tool to become truly useful, the large existing deficit in specific training for coaches of sports and sports management must be taken into account, so as to achieve a tangible change in trainers, institutions and establishments that provide this service and thus achieve the much desired state of health and wellbeing in charge of a professional in the field.
The Master's program in Physical Activity: Sports Training and Management is designed for all those professionals who seek to deepen their knowledge of the practice and management of physical training and all aspects related to the management of sports centers.
Who is the programme for?
The training methodology proposed, summed up to the clarity, amplitude and didactic of the content design, allows the Master’s in Physical Activity: Sports Training and Management be addressed to all licensed professionals, associate’s degree graduates, professors, and health sciences and sports professionals that desire to enrich their undergraduate or graduate training with topics related to physical activity, sports design and planning, and sports centers management.
Diploma
Successful completion of the Program will enable you to be awarded the degree in Master in Physical Activity: Sports Training and Management.
After successfully completing the Program, the student will receive the degree as awarded by the University where they have enrolled.

a. The equivalence in credits may vary depending on the university where the student is enrolled. One (1) ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credit is equivalent to 10 + 15 hours. If the student is enrolled in the Program at a university outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), the credit-hour relationship may vary.
Duration
The Master's in Physical Activity: Training and Sports Management name has 120 credits.
The duration of the Master's in Physical Activity: Training and Sports Management varies between 12 and 24 months, depending on the student's dedication. In this period of time, the student must have successfully passed all the evaluated activities and approved the Final Project.

General objective
- Provide professionals with sufficient knowledge and resources to be able to develop effective and efficient professional skills in the field of physical activity with a focus on sports management and training.

- Guide the student in developing skills for sports training and practice.

- Distinguish and apply theoretical knowledge in actual cases from the contemplation of different activities.

The first Optional Module has as a prerequisite: the accreditation of sufficient knowledge in nutrition or the completion of the preparatory course "Basic Aspects of Nutrition".

In this part of the program, emphasis will be given to the study and resolution of cases that allow the complete adaptation of the theoretical topics provided for managing training and the management of sports entities.

The last part of the program is the completion of the Final Master Project, which can be started after finishing the 2ª Part: Optional Modules, because at that moment the student will have need of all the necessary elements developed to begin the assignment.

The objective is to present a complete document that shows the development of the proposed assignment, contemplating the possibility of its total implementation, according to the guidelines and details of the Final Course Work presented.
The assignment should be a contribution to some of the fields studied or something related, both theoretical and applied, respecting the doctrines, theories and related disciplines.
It must also be based on the document “Final Course Work Preparation Guidelines” that the student will receive on the first delivery of the course materials.
