Program Presentation
The Master in Bioethics is an academic program aimed at training professionals specializing in the study and research in Bioethics.
The program follows a methodological multidisciplinary study from a scientific, anthropological, ethical and legal approach.
Who is the programme for?
The Master’s in Bioethics degree is addressed to professionals with an interest in Bioethics. Nevertheless, preference will be given to those candidates whose training in Bioethics is mandatory within their professional preparation.
Diploma
Successful completion of the Program will enable you to be awarded the degree in Master in Bioethics.
After successfully completing the Program, the student will receive the degree as awarded by the University where they have enrolled.
Program Structure
The credit structure of the Master in Bioethics program is shown in the following table. It should be noted that the duration is merely indicative, as the methodology followed integrates the knowledge and skills to be acquired in each part through integrative exercises of knowledge acquisition and internalization of project practices:

a. The equivalence in credits may vary according to the university where he/she has enrolled. One (1) ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credit is equivalent to 10 + 15 hours. If the student is enrolled in a university that does not belong to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), the relation between credits - hours may vary.
Duration
La Master in Bioethics tiene 90 créditos. La duración de la Master in Bioethics es de 12 to 24 months. En este período de tiempo, el alumno tiene que haber superado con éxito todas las actividades evaluadas y aprobado el Proyecto Final.

General Objective
- To train specialized professionals in the Bioethics field on a theoretical and practical level.
Specific Objectives
- To prepare professionals in the Bioethics field starting with a solid scientific, anthropological, ethical and legal training.
- To provide a high level of theoretical and practical training in the bioethics field.
- To train specialists in the area of Bioethics with experience managing multidisciplinary study groups.

The Master's degree in Bioethics is made up of 4 parts which are described below:
- MODULE 1: FUNDAMENTAL BIOETHICS (250 HOURS)
The object of the first module is to introduce the student to the general study of Bioethics. The topics developed provide the theoretical bases that work as a foundation for discourse management and Bioethics methods.

The objective of this module is to introduce the student in the study of Bioethics applied to the field of scientific experimentation and environmental care. The focus of the topics covered in this module allows the student to familiarize themselves with an interdisciplinary analysis model typical of Bioethics.

- MODULE 4: RESEARCH (200 HOURS)
The object of this module is so that the student can develop a research project related to any area of personal interest within the Bioethics field. This project is carried out through the implementation of a Final Project (FMP) and the drafting of a Proposal which details the development of the previously mentioned study. The research module is finalized once the Proposal has been approved.
