An increasingly competitive world requires that professionals to have a comprehensive training in every area that consists of a company’s structure. The crisis has created the need to expand business operations towards new emerging markets.
In order to deal with this challenge, professionals require an understanding and development of the skills needed to manage the entry into a new market and successfully compete within it.
FUNIBER’s program of Business and Trade is intended to give participants a solid understanding of the functioning of international trade. The modules in the program are designed to provide the professional with the necessary tools and skills to design a process for a company’s internationalization, and in turn efficiently manage a multinational company.
Who is the programme for?
The structure of the specialization allows the program to be aimed at Administrators of SMEs who wish to internationalize their business activities, graduates and professionals who want to expand their job prospects in the world of international business.
Diploma
The INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS AND TRADE program has different degree in each of the countries where it is given, therefore each one of them has specific characteristics and academic requisites:
- The Degrees will be granted by the university in which the student has enrolled.
- The Degree will specify the nature of the program (Specialization, Bachelor) according to the current terminology of each country.

The credit structure of the International Business and Trade program is shown in the following table. It should be noted that the duration is merely indicative, as the methodology followed integrates the knowledge and skills to be acquired in each part through integrative exercises of knowledge acquisition and internalization of project practices:

a. The equivalence in credits may vary according to the university where he/she has enrolled. One (1) ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credit is equivalent to 10 + 15 hours. If the student is enrolled in a university that does not belong to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), the relation between credits - hours may vary.
Duration
The program in International Business and Trade has 39 credits.
The duration of the program in International Business and Trade varies between 9 and 12 months, depending on the student's dedication. In this period of time, the student must have successfully passed all the evaluated activities and approved the Final Project, if any.

Objectives
General objective:
- The International Business and Trade program is aimed at developing a comprehensive training designed to learn and design a plan of internationalization of a company and develop the skills needed to manage an international company efficiently, proposing business models applicable to the various international markets.
Specific objectives:
- Teaching the proper management of tools needed to identify business opportunities in international markets and implement them efficiently.
- Know the phases of internationalization of a company and analyze relevant media to define the plan to make it effective.
- Develop a critical analyzing capability for selecting international markets, taking into account risk, liquidity and profitability of investments abroad.
- Develop the management techniques of a multinational company with a strategic perspective in the various departments of marketing, exports, finances, HR, CSR, logistics and management.

Study Plan
The International Business and Trade program is made up of 10 subjects and a Final Project of the Course or Final Project of the Specialization.

The subjects allow the students to learn and understand how International Business and Trade work from its theoretical and conceptual fundamentals, guiding the student to use these tools to generate a differential value that can be converted into tangible benefits for an international company.
