Program Presentation
The Specialization in Coaching degree presents an approach in terms of its perspective of an individual, inspired by the Ontological, Systemic, and Transformational vision. We consider Coaching not only a methodology with practical tools or a modern expanding discipline, but a philosophy of life through which to look at and interpret a person and their possibilities for change, growth, development, and improvement.
Therefore, we define Coaching as a process of reflective and creative accompaniment offered to people-clients to achieve a specific objective and inspire them to maximize their personal and professional potential. In view of the above, the mission of the Specialization in Coaching degree is to educate professionals in the Coaching discipline through the development and consolidation of their competencies and skills as a Coach; delving into the different useful and necessary tools to accompany and obtain improvement results in the development processes, change, and accompaniment that they carry out.
The Specialization in Coaching degree offers training that is closely connected to the context of the profession’s practice. The theoretical bases of Coaching, its different fields of application, and methodological models are addressed as a referential scheme that allows us to enter into the Coaching process. The degree will also delve into the tools that will be useful during the guidance and coaching processes; in the competencies of the Coach in coherence with the standards of the International Coach Federation (ICF); and the practice of coaching, through coaching sessions supervised by professors, tutors, and coaches.
